Holiday Checklist

So you feel more prepared when you get there, it’s a good idea to research the country you’re travelling to. Understanding cultures and customs in different countries can help you enjoy your trip. We’ve also provided a checklist below to help you prepare:

Before you travel, make sure you purchase travel insurance. Check your policy to ensure everyone is covered, including any activities you plan to do while you’re away. Not all activities are automatically included!

Ensure you declare all your medical conditions on your travel insurance policy. Failure to do so could result in a claim being declined.
Make sure to check your passport is in date well in advance of your trip. To renew or replace your passport head to Renew or replace your adult passport: Overview - GOV.UK
In many countries, you are required to have at least 6 months remaining on your passport before it expires. Take a look at the entry requirements for the country you plan to visit via the FCDO website at Foreign travel advice - GOV.UK
